Leo Netzband is a veteran in the music, advertising and sync licensing industries. With more than 20 years of experience in music supervision, licensing, creative production and rights management, Leo most recently worked as the Senior Licensing Manager – Sync at Warner Music Central Europe, a role he has held since June 2022. Prior to this, he has worked as music supervisor, creative producer, account management in companies like Big Sync Music, Epidemic Sound, thjnk, Grabarz & Partner, and Songtradr. Leo studied Marketing and Business Management at the University of South Africa from 2008-2011. Leo also has roots as an international DJ and music producer under the artist name “Leo Large”. He launched his career in his home country before relocating to South Africa in 2007. Since then he has performed and released music throughout the continent, including South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Tanzania and Namibia. His work earned him nominations for the South African Music Awards (SAMA) in Both 2011 and 2013 as well as the MTN Hype Awards.
